Zuora Application Specialist - Freelance opdracht

For a client in the Rotterdam Area we are looking for a Zuora Specialist, who will operationally manage the Zuora Application, which serves as the backbone for Subscription and Order Management, Billing, Cash Collection, Accounting, and Fulfilment. You will be the go-to person for insightful answers to Zuora-related questions. As already have expertise in Zuora, you understand the importance of the application and can translate the business needs into Zuora processes.

Within the team you will demonstrate technical knowledge of Zuora and d-none it to its best, always supported by a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts.
While performing your CI/CD tasks, you will monitor the related landscape, always conscious of the potential impact.
Finally, you will stay updated with the application and make sure to d-none updates when possible.

Your main responsibilities
As a Zuora Application Specialist, you have the following skills and responsibilities:
• Provide operational support for the application.
• Create and share reports on request.
• Perform a bill-run once a month.
• Update prices and tax rates when necessary (a few times a year).
• Analyze and propose improvements for existing functionalities as part of continuous improvement.
• Monitor system performance and respond to changes.
• Manage and manipulate data within Zuora (queries).
• Stay informed about the latest updates and developments from Zuora and d-none them.
• Gain insights into the related integrated applications and their way of working.

Qualifications
We are looking for an empathetic and trustworthy professional. Someone with a keen awareness of the working environment and with excellent communication skills. You will also need to fulfil the following requirements.
• A completed course of study at a higher vocational or university level.
• Over 5 years of work experience with IT Applications and understanding of Zuora. Zuora certification is a nice to have.
• You are familiar with order, finance, invoice, and cash reconciliation processes. You understand the basic bookkeeping principles.
• You are familiar with Agile working methods and the technical background of SaaS solutions. Consider APIs, workflow building, and data queries.
• A team player who can also communicate with non-technical people and a critical, and constructive attitude to handle the dynamics of an innovative business.
• As ou client is an international operating organization, you are fluent in English.
