Location: Utrecht (hybrid: 2 days per week in the office)
Language Requirement: Native Dutch speaker required & Near Native English
Key Objectives
Desired Outcome for the Client:
The freelancer should independently lead daily team operations and digital marketing campaigns, reporting progress to the Head of Marketing & Communications.
1. Daily management of the Marketing & Communications team (a mix of permanent employees and contingent workers) and employee development
2. Oversee and execute ongoing marketing campaigns across European markets for the Food & Agri and Energy Transition sectors, providing hands-on support until the new campaign marketeer is onboarded.
SMART Objectives
1. Successful Digital Marketing Campaigns: Deliver and report on progress of marketing campaigns in Europe.
2. Onboarding: Complete onboarding for the new campaign marketeer.
3. Employee Development: Daily management and check-ins on individual basis, including managing individual growth & improvement trajectories.
4. Team Stability: Ensure the team meets goals and objectives with monthly evaluations.
Required Expertise
• Experience: 6+ years in B2B marketing roles, ideally in the Food & Agri or Energy Transition sectors, within international organizations.
• Leadership: Proven experience managing small teams, including performance coaching and managing replacements.
• Campaign Expertise: Hands-on experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns across European markets.
• Collaboration: Experience in matrix organizations and working across functions and geographies.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch (native) and English (professional).
