IT Operations – Test Coordinator
Viterra B.V.Within the global IT Operations Organization, the IT Test Coordinator is in charge of testing, test preparation and planning. The current position will have a focus on the IT Operations Workspace, Network, Hosting, Messaging, and Identity domain.
Due to the criticality and complexity of the projects and Live Cycle Management activities, a qualitative test coordination is needed. The position of IT Test Coordinator is located between the business, IT teams, project management and external suppliers. The test trajectories have to be managed in an international context. Besides the global head office in Rotterdam, the IT Test Coordinator should also guide to testing with key users at the various local offices.
Duties
The Viterra (Live Cycle Management) project approach aims to find a fine balance between being in control and being flexible enough to quickly align with ever changing business requirements. The project and/or activities you will participate in, is an initiative to introduce new features to the Workspace, Network, Hosting, Messaging, and Identity landscape.
Since we are an ambitious organization, there are several options for future projects and/or activities within the various IT domains. Mostly these activities are small to medium with a duration of 3-6 months, where it could be the case that you participate in multiple projects at the same time.
The IT Test Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
• Become familiarized with the Viterra test strategy and test approach.
• Ensure that the test goals and objectives are achieved within the established test scope and timelines;
• Coordinate the test phases for this project and ongoing tracking and reporting;
• Ensure test cases and documents are complete, current, and distributed appropriately;
• Proactively identify potential issues/risks and devise contingency plans with regards to testing;
• Support the testers, teams and project manager in achieving test objectives;
• Inform the project manager frequently on test status, verbally and by documentation;
• Develop and deliver test plan, test scrips / cases (e.g. unit test, system integration test, user acceptance test), test documentation, entrance/exit criteria.
This role will report to the IT Operations Manager, and will be part of the EMEA IT Operations.
Required skills and experience
In this challenging and influencing role we require:
• A qualified Test Coordinator;
• Change management skills, be pragmatic and not bureaucratic;
• Experienced in complex/international projects, preferably with knowledge of datacentres, cloud, mobile device management, workspace.
• Bachelor degree with technical background & working level;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in test coordination roles;
• Fluent in English language (spoken and written);
• Fluent in Dutch language is preferred;
• Understanding of IT operations processes is preferred;
