Job Description
The internship starts in February, and is for a period of 5-6 months.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will have two main areas of focus during your internship: To develop & implement best practice talent analytics and to co-develop a global data literacy program. Don’t worry, you won’t need to start from scratch, there’s a great people analytics platform at your disposal (Visier) and a team to work with!

Our HR Team strives to make vision a reality and contribute to the rapid growth of our organisation. Working within the International Headquarters HR team, you will partner with experienced HR professionals and receive training on the job.

The HR function at JDE is evolving into a data-driven function, in which you'll be playing your part. As a Global HR Technology & Analytics Intern, you will support in developing and implementing best practice talent analytics, as well as support the creation of a data literacy program for our HR team. You will be an integral part of our team, working on projects that will enhance our HR decision-making processes and build a culture of data-informed HR practices.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Take part in the implementation of People Analytics solution and best practices.
  • Collaborating with an international key user community to foster a culture of knowledge sharing & continuous improvement.
  • Develop data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to convey insights and trends, as well as continue to improve existing ones.
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of a data literacy program for HR professionals.
  • Support data quality initiatives, ensuring accurate and reliable data sources.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends related to HR analytics & bring new enhancements to life that will make the lives of our HR colleagues easier

For this role as a HR Projects & Analytics Intern, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • You're enrolled in an education in Human Resources/Data Analytics/ Business Management/IT (or similar)
  • You're fluent English both in speaking and writing
  • You have good communication, people skills and you enjoy a thorough analysis, finding answers and building a story behind the numbers
  • You’re a team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Experienced in working with data through Excel, or SPSS, etc
  • Energetic, passionate and willing to learn.

Important: To be considered as a candidate for this internship,

  • EU/EEA students: you need to be enrolled at a University for the whole duration of the internship and this needs to be a mandatory part of your study curriculum. In case of voluntarily internship purpose, a tri-parties agreement may be requested to be signed by you and your university.
  • Non-EU/EEA students: you need to be enrolled at a Dutch University and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement. The internship needs to be a compulsory part of your studies (eg, receive ECTS in turn).

Internship Allowance

  • Based on a fulltime 40 hour workweek, the monthly internship allowance is € 450,- for a HBO student or € 500,- for a WO student, additionally, you will get paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.
  • Monthly Commuting allowance:
    • In principle, you will be using your student public transportation card (student OV-chipcard /studentenreisproduct) for daily commuting.
    • If you are not eligible for the student OV-chipcard, JDE offers a commuting allowance. Compensation for commuting expenses, starting from a minimum distance of 5 kilometers one way, up to a maximum of:
      • 35 kilometers à € 19ct per km (according to the temporary arrangement) when travelling by own transportation;
      • 45 kilometers (max. € 294.50 based on public transport fees) per month for travel by public transportation.
    • Should you relocate to the city of your based office (Amsterdam or Utrecht), you will receive a monthly relocation compensation of up to a maximum of € 175. In this case, the commuting allowance will be not applicable. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
