We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer for our client in Eindhoven.

Location: Eindhoven/remote 
Start date: asap
Period: 3 months with the option to extend    
Contract hours: 40

Our customer is a consultancy team with data experts, cloud experts, and IT professionals, they have different projects for large enterprises and innovative startups.

Project description

Our customer is helping to build a Azure cloud platform. The platform has 1700 users and enable users to do self-service data explorations. We are responsible for implementing new features (e.g. onboarding new analytics tools) and make sure the platform is stable. 

Activities

• Integrate new platform functionality and tooling using APIs.
• Designing new functionality based on functional requirements.
• Platform operations, hotfixes, monitoring, analysis and support.

Competence

• HBO or Academic level.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience within an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (Focus on cloud native services) proven with certification or project history.
• Experience in building, integrating, testing cloud software and/or data components (e.g., Azure Functions, Web Apps, Databricks, Grafana).
• Experience in API development using Python.
• Experience in epic/feature ownership, leading from development to deployment.
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps teams with CI/CD (Azure DevOps/Terraform).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (in English).
• Good documenting capabilities.
