Business Analyst for Vattenfall Business Area Wind - Freelance opdracht in Zuid-Holland

Vattenfall is leading the renewables transition towards a fossil free future. Development of our digital landscape is key in achieving this ambition. To realise our large portfolio of digital projects for Business Area Wind, consisting of the business units Solar and Batteries, Onshore Wind and Offshore Wind, we are looking for an experienced Business analyst.

As a business analyst you will drive the requirements definition and follow up for prioritized digital projects for BA Wind, working closely together with business stakeholders in BA Wind and our digital supply teams in Vattenfall IT and Digital Engineering.
What you will do:
● You translate business needs into future operating model descriptions and associated business/organisation/technology/solution requirements (collectively referred to as “requirements”)
● You drive refinement & alignment of requirements with affected stakeholders, ensuring:
◦ business objectives are met;
◦ requirements are prioritised and traceable to business objectives; and
◦ requirements are SMART (so they can be tracked and delivered by the projects or agile delivery teams).
● You collaborate with projects or agile delivery teams to ensure that requirements have clear and testable acceptance criteria.
● You drive and/or support the definition of associated business value, both quantitively and qualitatively
● You act as interface and facilitator between business stakeholders and digital delivery teams.
● You participate in shaping change management strategies and plans to ensure business change is successfully rolled out and embedded.
● You document the requirements and ensure governance processes are followed.
● You ensure that expectations are managed and deviations, risks and bottlenecks are timely communicated to business and project management.

What we are looking for:
Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Enterprise Automation or related field. Your English is strong, both verbally and written. In addition, the following qualifications are important for this position:
● Proven experience in business analysis and requirements management in the Energy sector
● Proven experience d-noneing industry standards for documenting processes (e.g. BPMN) and requirements (e.g. user stories or SysML)
● Proven experience facilitating requirements related workshops (e.g. requirements gathering, refinement, prioritisation and approval).
● Experience in and understanding of corporate IT landscapes
● Experience with both traditional project methods as well as agile ways of working.
● Demonstrable experience in implementing new processes and performing change management in a complex international organisation with different stakeholders on various levels.
● Knowledge of the following areas is preferred: Renewable energy, Asset maintenance, Financial reporting

The location of this job is Amsterdam (Netherlands) and work on-site in the Vattenfall office is expected at least 3 days per week. Occasional travel to other Vattenfall locations could be required.
