Rabobank is looking for a Tech Lead with proven experience in leading teams in complex environments. This role is primarily responsible for leading several teams working on our Enterprise D&A Products.

Domain Tech4D&A
Within the CITO division Engineering & Enterprise Tech, the domain Tech4D&A is the main driver behind the data-driven enterprise and enabler of Rabobank's most strategic objectives: FEC, Customer Insights, Compliance, and Sustainability. The objectives of Tech4D&A are:

· Delivery of platforms and standardized services with a Rabobank-wide impact;
· Development of sustainable and standardized Data and Analytics products;
· Setting standards and creating building blocks to ensure high-quality development processes and product delivery;
· Enabling other departments by actively collaborating on the delivery of D&A products and solutions.

Domain Tech4D&A provides all IT resources, tools, and capabilities for domain Chied Data & Analytics Office (CDAO). This domain is divided into Tribe Global Data & Analytics Platforms and Tribe Data & Analytics Products and Transformation.

The position of Tech Lead is within Tribe Data & Analytics Products and Transformation (Tribe DAPT), area Enterprise Data Products (EDP).

Role
As a Tech Lead, you are primarily managerial and integrally responsible for IT Delivery. This includes setting up and maintaining high-performing teams, ensuring secure and compliant delivery processes, and identifying new innovations to ensure future-proof data & analytics product development. Performance and compliance in the context of standards, information security, and risk are crucial aspects.

Area Enterprise Data Products aims to become the Center of Excellence for data product development. In recent years, we have evolved from traditional Data Ingestion to Data Product Development based on the Data

as a Product principles. We focus on setting standards for Data Engineering for structured and unstructured data, developing frameworks and solutions to accelerate and automate processes, and actively collaborating enterprise-wide where our engineers have coaching/advisory roles. We closely collaborate with our platforms and are partners in defining end-to-end improvements or innovations.

Together with your team, you ensure value delivery, build partnerships enterprise-wide, and create a safe working environment. In our dynamic working environment, you will be expected to identify, initiate, and implement process improvements to ensure good collaboration and create structure, peace, and clarity in a fast and continuously changing environment.

· Increasing the maturity level of the product teams and the way they ensure value creation within Rabobank;
· Stimulating a real 'engineering culture';
· Further implementation of agile working;
· Expansion and optimization of offshoring;
· Improving collaboration with the Global Data Platform to ensure a good user journey.

Profile
As a Tech Lead, you have high technical savviness in the field of Data & Analytics. You are experienced in agile working, understand the risk & compliance needs of a bank, and possess a broad interest and opinion on IT trends. You are a self-starter who can take ownership and has the intrinsic motivation to make a positive impact. To ensure focus and progress, you can bring structure, set priorities, and ensure clear and transparent communication at multiple levels. You are experienced in working in a highly diverse environment, understand the offshore collaboration model, and understand cross-cultural differences to ensure positive collaboration within and across squads.

The Tech Lead we are looking for has the following characteristics:

· Academic working and thinking level;
· At least 5 years of experience in similar roles within complex D&A / IT environments;
· Comfortable with a “span of control” of approximately 30-40 employees;
· Experience working with offshore teams and understanding vendor management processes;
· Knowledge of and experience with DevOps teams and scaled Agile (SAFe);
· Relevant experience with issues in complex Data & Analytics environments;
· Extensive experience in software development and Data Engineering;
· Experience in guiding DevOps teams in transition;
· Proven project/program management experience within IT environments, preferably within Financial Services;
· Demonstrable results in guiding teams towards autonomy and high performance;
· Demonstrable affinity and passion for digitization and Cloud technology;
· Mastery of the English language (business level, writing and speaking);
· Ability to weigh interests and risks together with the business and maintain a firm stance in difficult discussions;
· You have not previously participated in an application procedure for this position.
