Validate Aftertreatment Concepts to meet future emission regulation and best-in-class performance.
Job description
As an Exhaust Aftertreatment Performance Test Engineer you will be part of a team which initiates and tests new Aftertreatment Concepts to meet Future Regulation.
Your tasks:
• Performance Engineer for Exhaust Aftertreatment within Concept Development
• Development of Aftertreatment systems for Future Projects in cooperation with System Supplier(s) to meet Development Targets (Performance and Emission Targets)
• Calibration and Control Strategy Development for Aftertreatment Systems
• Test coordination of Aftertreatment related activities within Concept Development
• Documentation and analyses of test results, tool usage and possible improvements
• Development of Test procedures for Supervision of Aftertreatment tests on Engine Dyno’s and Vehicles
• Development of Problem Solutions and realization of solutions in close cooperation with internal and external Development Partners.
• Collaboration in project teams
• Take initiative to constantly improve tools and processes
As an Exhaust Aftertreatment Performance Test Engineer you will report to the Engineering Supervisor of the Concept Development Team.
Functie-eisen
Your profile
• Bachelor or Master degree in Automotive, Controls or Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge in the field of Aftertreatment systems (DOC, DPF, SCR), Thermodynamics, Combustion, Control Engineering and/or Chemistry.
• Engine testing experience, preferably with Heavy Duty Truck Aftertreatment Systems
o Data acquisition

o PUMA / ATI / Inca / Calterm
o Matlab experience (modeling and scripting)
