Within the BTO Operations department, the IIC team is responsible for the policy, management, and maintenance of TenneT’s IT environment, as well as managing external service providers. The IT environment consists of physical and virtualized servers, SAN systems, a backup environment, underlying networks and equipment, data centers, and associated management environments. A portion of the services is outsourced to external service providers. Additionally, work is being done on a flexible (hybrid) cloud infrastructure, providing the agility and scalability needed for TenneT’s digital strategy from an infrastructure and DevOps perspective.
Your role:
Within BTO Digital and Data, we are seeking a Change Manager for Data Culture. The Change Manager will be responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and management of an enterprise-wide structural data literacy and culture program. A key element of this role is aligning multiple change initiatives across the organization, ensuring cohesive communication, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. The Change Manager will work closely with various business units to ensure all employees develop the necessary data and analytical skills, while promoting a shared data language. This will enable colleagues to incorporate data into their daily operations and encourage a mindset of data-driven decision-making.
A primary responsibility of this role is to drive alignment across parallel change programs, ensuring that communication is clear, consistent, and supports TenneT’s broader strategic goals. The Change Manager will also facilitate continuous engagement with key stakeholders, ensuring that efforts related to data literacy, culture, and communication are unified and effectively synchronized throughout the organization.
Your role:
Strategic Development:
• You will develop a scalable data literacy framework that aligns with TenneT’s Data Strategy and broader organizational goals, ensuring it directly impacts the business in a positive way.
Change Management and Communication Strategy:
• You will ensure the alignment and integration of the data literacy program with other ongoing change initiatives across the organization. You will coordinate efforts to synchronize all transformation activities, ensuring they are mutually supportivel
• You will develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy that promotes transparency, delivers consistent messaging, and engages employees at all levels. This will include regular updates, clear timelines, and success stories to drive awareness and adoption of the program;
• You will engage key stakeholders early and often to secure buy-in and ensure their involvement in the change process. You will facilitate open dialogues and create feedback loops to address concerns, adapt approaches, and ensure smooth adoption;
• You will proactively identify areas of resistance and work with leadership and change champions to address concerns, mitigate challenges, and foster a culture of adaptability.
Training & Development:
• You will create a comprehensive training and workshop framework to continuously improve employees’ data and analytical skills;
• You will partner with external trainers, suppliers, and specialists to deliver a high-quality curriculum for data literacy training.
